Thanks for the link to the review on the MC611's. I bought a pair and just got around to finally unboxing them today. Still waiting on a couple of other McIntosh components to hook it all up. This is my first McIntosh system and looking foward to the first listening!

The reviewer certainly liked them, to no surprise. McIntosh continues the legacy, these are likely to be popular.

Congratulations sandman, I bet the anticipation is driving you crazy!

Interesting side bar about the needle function in the meters. Good info, thanks.

Hi,
I auditioned the MC611s with the B&W 802D3, and love the combination.
I put in an order and hope to get them by mid-July. This is also my first McIntosh. Can’t wait to have them!
Look forward to your impression when you hook them up for the fist listening.

Both reviews were enjoyable. Thank you both for the links.

Quite frankly, I expected nothing less.

These reviews are really making me anxious to get them hooked up!!! They will be paired with a C-2600 and a MCD350 (could not decide between the C-2600 & C52). Hope I made the right choice.

sandman.......You made an excellent choice. Tubes and solid state make an incredible combination. Can't wait to read your impressions.

Agreed! I don't think McIntosh would release a product that wouldn't improve on it's previous model.

I'm sure we'll see some 601's up for sale.
