Default Roon 1.5 Released

Just noticed both my Roon core and client were automatically upgraded. Upgrading database now (I have 15K CDs stored, so the database upgrade really takes time).

MQA finally! I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole thing, but the additonal hi-res available without having to use an MQA DAC is welcome a this point. Having the albums properly identified as MQA is long overdue as well. A great update, provided its stable.

Yep, MQA related features are the main reasons they gave it a new version number. When playing MQA from Tidal, the signal path display is changed to something like this:

Hey SAPHANA, I'm curious on how you've accumulated 15,000 CDs. How long has it taken to you to obtain that many and how often do you actually listen to them all? Yours is probably the most impressive collection (in numbers anyway) that I've heard of.

Hi jayvis,
Considering 99% of my collections are classical music and nowadays so many of them are in box set, it's not really very hard to accumulate that many Just several examples: Complete Mozart 200CDs, RCO Anniversary 152CDs.

Where do you store 15,000 CD's? A Boltz rack holds about about 600 CD's and is 2' by ~6'. It would take aboutt 300 sq.ft. of wall space to store that many discs.

I have a dedicated (almost) storage room. And again, keep in mind box sets need much less room than those in regular cases.

15k would be nearly 10 different CD's every day for 5 years. Wow.

15k is very impressive! Obviously it has been a long term effort.
