The following was captured during the recent Super Wolf Blood Moon Eclipse. A meteorite impact.

No worries, they said it was a "meteorite"... Just don't let the fact that it is much brighter than the Moon itself during the eclipse as if "illuminated" by an external source of light (since moon was completely in the earth's shadow) bother you one bit.
No atmosphere on the moon so the meteorite can not exhibit the typical "atmospheric penetration" heat/light phenomena either.
