When I arrived back from vacation both the latest Hi Fi Plus with the PB1i and the Hi Fi Choice that compares the FB1i to 5 other speakers were in the mail. Both reviews were pretty positive in general. I will note any specific comments in the next couple of days.

This is a great review.

Jérôme.......Still aching from getting all that gear upstairs?

No doubt about it, PMC has some awesome speakers in their line. I am completely satisfied with my EB1i speakers, and very happy I decided to purchase a pair. I'm thinking of a second pair of EB1i's for the studio system.

No Dan, that's just from the work.... !
I saw AC sells the EB1i at a good price, but I don't know for shipping....

Jérôme.......I have talked to Mike Sastra at Audio Classics about the PMC speakers. He is actually to one who initially suggested I audition the EB1i's when I contacted him about a pair of McIntosh XRT28's. I'm sure glad I listened to him. I may give him a call to see what AC can do. I have purchased a number of McIntosh pieces from them through the years. They are top knotch.

Yes Dan, I'm so glad they are on the market. I met Mike via JM, and JM via AK. The big stuff started there for me. I would never have supposed I would meet so many friends on the web, and buy so many things.... !
They gave me the opportunity and ability to own a 1000 series Mc line, Which I would not have pay for in France. A C1000C / P in France cost 23000 euros ! A MDA1000 is 12000 euros ! A pair of 501's is 13500 euros ! I could afford them new in France, but my wife could have me put in an asylum ! All my components are second hand but I 'm happier than with my previous bought new system ( C220, MC275 MKIV, MCD 201 ) in Belgium !
Cheers,
Jérôme
