Here is the trailer for the upcoming Blu-Ray release of the extended version of Lord of the Rings trilogy. No release date yet, but can be pre-ordered on Amazon.

I have the theatrical versions but I will keep an eye out for it. They did a good job on the BD

Douglax... I was going to purchase the set on Amazon a while back but read reviews which criticized the picture quality of "The Fellowship Of The Ring".

I assume you have viewed it and was wondering what you thought of its picture quality?

Sorry, my bad. I see you mentioned the theatrical version in an earlier post. I was considering the extended version and it was the one with the picture quality concerns.

I wonder if someone could find out if it was a certain pressing?
Just out of curiosity what in particular did they say was wrong with the picture? color, glitchiness,lack of detail?
