Titanic IMAX 3D
Just returned from seeing Titanic in 3D IMAX. This is only the second time I have seen this movie the first being in 70mm a short time after it was released.
I must say the sound was as good as I have heard in a theater and visuals on that huge screen were incredible. The use of 3D was subtle. It added depth to some scenes without relying on objects poking out of the screen trying to get your attention. It was surely worth the $10 admission for IMAX. JIm |

Watching people jump off the ship to their death in 3D should be awesome. just being an ass.
Jokes aside. I bet the sound is awesome. I have the soundtrack on SACD and it's great.

'Titanic' 2D DVD Anamorphic version.
By the way, on the 3-Disc Set DVD Special Collector's Edition, the Audio ain't too shabby either.
... I'd say excellent for a compressed multichannel 6.1 DTS ES surround sound. * Here In Canada, IMAX is more than $10, unfortunately. ...We are just a small bunch of Northern Indians. Last edited by LordoftheRingsEE; 04-17-2012 at 09:26 PM. Reason: emoticon's reduction & one typo |

Same here.
* I also have the two discs (CDs): Music from the Motion Picture & Original Music composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic & Back to Titanic). Both are excellent recordings, and of course Celine is on it. Last edited by LordoftheRingsEE; 04-17-2012 at 11:25 PM. Reason: * |
