Like the OP, I started collecting knives 20 or so years ago (~30). Mostly handmade knives. It's not a huge or pricey collection, but when I think about it in context of AA, I guess I could have spent it now on a pair of 20.7 Maggies or MC 601's...hmmm. I'll post pics eventually.
Regarding money spent though, this sort of collection, I would think, will at least keep up with inflation. I think I first realized that when I discovered that 2 or more D'Holder knives I have are apparently worth ~ 40% more now. Well it takes me awhile to type something like this. I learned to type with all fingers in high school, but I guess it's not like learning to ride a bike - I hunt & peck now. Actually, I guess I peck more than hunt but its seems laborious compared to real typing (or is it called keyboarding now). Thanks, John
