You may find by upgrading the amp, you might already have the right speaker.

I don't think so, I had already upgrade from the 160 to the 250 which made a huge difference, I don't think it's the lack of power from the amp which can output to 500 watts into a 4 ohm load, I truly think at this point I'm at the speaker upgrade point, plus it's my source that needs to be upgraded before the amp, as good budget wise the project carbon,dynavector combo is , that is where money needs to be spent also.

Seriously, you will love them - and then you'll see what power can do (like you already have discovered).
These amps power my Maggie 20.7's with ease. They'll change your mind about your 1.6's. Maggies just love power - and a lot of it. |
