Dave...I've had mine for about 10 years. I bought the 50th anniversary special edition in Santos Palisander at the time from DWR. Loved it then. Still love it. Be aware though that it has a low profile and is not height adjustable. So depending on your height when seated in chair, you may have to adjust rake angle on your speakers so tweeters are aimed at ear level height at seated position. Hope that helps.

775a... Thanks for input. Researched for a while, found Rove and other brands but could only find mixed reviews. Apart from the price, Herman Miller's definitely has something others don't. It also comes down to one's morphology... (I'm 6"2 - 195 lbs).
Before I was ever interested in a "listening chair", I sate in a authentic Herman Miller's at a friend's and as soon as I sate in, I felt very/extremely comfortable! Unfortunately, he would not sale it

I also had a HM Eames chair for years and loved it, but eventually switched to an Ekornes Stressless recliner after some spinal problems. I found the adjustability more comfortable for my back and neck.

Thx Tony, will certainly look into Ekornes Stressless recliner. It looks great and appreciate first hand owner's review

I am looking for a recliner and the Ekornes Stressless certainly looks very good. It is also available locally to me.

Default vitra repos

I've always wanted an Eames chair, but then I sat in one and hated it. Lately I have been lusting over a modern successor, the vitro repos.

I know some people prefer to have no headrest to not interfere with the sound, but for me audio is about relaxing and unwinding, and I like a chair I can fall asleep in
