Help Needed - Unable to Install Sooloos Control Mac

Did your reset all of the gear including routers and the Control 15 to force new IP addresses?

Try logging onto your MacBooks as Guest and try and install Control Mac. On my Air I had to get help getting rid of hidden SooLoos files left behind after an incomplete install. It would work on other machines and as a Guest I created but not the Admin account.

Clear your DHCP tables on your router. That will force them to a new address. Simply restarting will not release the DHCP lease.

Alternatively, anything with sensitive data (or something that is consistently and constantly contacted over your network) should have a static IP. Each client can have a dynamic IP with no problems, but things like NAS, Servers, any machines getting controlled remotely, should be assigned a static IP.

First of all, I like to thank EVERYONE who had contributed in the advise to help me resolve this issue of NOT being able to load Control Mac.

Finally, got hold of local service provider and managed to resolve the issue.

Its just simply that I have OVERLOADED one channel (the 5.0GHz) thereby weighing down the usage. By limiting to (at any one time a maximum of 4 devices - while the rest connect to the other 2.4GHz band), the Control mac finally operates/CONNECT EVERY TIME!

I am so happy!

I never thought that could be an issue but I'll keep that in mind for the next time
