I love wine, and intend to have a cellar once i settle down, but being expensive doesn't make a bottle good so it's a worthless criteria unless you're just buying for status. Due to budget constraints, I try to keep under $30 most of the time. Most of the stuff I drink is probably in the 17-$25 range. Occasionally I will buy something expensive, but it's rare. A subscription to WS helps me avoid mistakes when I do.

I like wine. Most of what I purchase is in the $15-$35 range. Whites or Reds really doesn't matter just so it's smooth. I always enjoy a glass with dinner.

I quit drinking several years ago - when Boones Farm increased its prices from $1.80 a bottle to a little over $2.00 and it became too expensive to drink. Same with cigarettes - darn things went from .35˘ a pack, all the way up to .40˘ and I sure as heck couldn't afford to spend over $140 a year to smoke.
Love hearing from all you rich folks though.
