AAron Hernandez found passed away in his cell

I followed the trial all the way through. The jury ignored all the states witnesses, ignored common sense and casual links, and found him not guilty. I know this thread is a tad controversial, but any thoughts?

There was a quote attributed to Urban Meyer that appeared for a matter of minutes on a Gator fan website shortly after Aaron Hernandez was recruited to play at Florida that said essentially Meyer would not be surprised if Hernandez ended up in the NFL Hall of Fame or on Death Row.

Odd that he decides to hang himself a few days after he is acquitted of another murder charge. Not something I'll lose sleep over.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least if there was a book written someday about those couple of Florida teams and what was going on off the field. That coaching staff may not have known the extent of what was going on, but I can tell you they knew d$&@ well they had some bad apples on that team and looked the other way. Ridiculous.

yeah, you got me.....now that being said, one of my best friends grew up and still lives in Gainesville......family very well connected with the UF athletic dept/boosters etc. My comment is not speculative, we'll just leave it at that.

I thought I already saw some pretty damning footage regarding the UF football team "back in the day". Not sure what program, but it was pretty clear they had major off the field issues.
