It was shipped on Friday so dealer should have it today. He offered to send tech out to set up which I will take him up on that offer. Still no word on the fault/issue of the unit. Maybe by this evening all will be back to normal; fingers crossed. I have surely missed the 6700 but the C2300/MC453/NCD500/VPI Aries 3x3 have kept me from pounding my head against the wall. I will report back, hopefully soon, with the outcome. Going on 5 weeks.

Should be delivered tomorrow afternoon provided I don't have to serve on Fed Jury Duty - been on call all week. The way I understand it, most prosecutors do not want educated people like engrs and geoscientist because we are either black or white in our deductive reasoning, no gray areas. The excitement is beginning to return.

First of all, I hope your MAC6700 update is successful. After all the frustration you've experienced, I hope McIntosh is making it right.

I served on a jury, young kid caught with two joints in his pocket. Eventhough I'm a longtime software engineer and though the prosecutor found out I had a Masters Degree, I suspect he wanted to save his last challenge for a woman who would have come after me in his questioning, so I was seated on that panel.
The judge took a close look at the "evidence" that was to be presented that showed that lab tested positive for marijuana, and the signature on the test results didn't match the name. Long-story-short, the report was not signed by the person who did the testing, so the case was dismissed.
If I ever serve again under these circumstances, I'll be sure to be vigilant about stuff like that.
