I am now playing your three suggestions. Could you create your "playlist" in one post?

There is a live version of DMSR on YouTube. A stupidly fine live performance. He put together a killer band and just nails it.

Jim,
Great idea for a thread. If you don't mind I'll take a little liberty here with a few more than 10 tracks. This playlist is one that I challenged my son to learn and play on the piano when he was a sophomore or junior in high school. Despite trying various "carrots" and no "sticks" it never went anywhere, which isn't a surprise for a kid that age. There are multiple versions of a few of these songs to help him hear and interpret differences. You'll notice a few performed by Indrek Laul, who is the CEO of the Estonia piano company (our piano is an Estonia) and an accomplished concert pianist. I'm hopeful he may revisit this someday when he has a house and can take the piano. The list itself is of pieces that are mostly quite mellow (ironically In a Mellow Tone here is anything but), and are ones I imagine would be a pleasure to play for someone with the talent.

1 Consolation No. 3 In D-Flat Major 5:02 My Favorite Liszt [Vol. 2] Indrek Laul
2 Liebestraum No. 3 In A-Flat Major 5:28 My Favorite Liszt [Vol. 2] Indrek Laul
3 Un Sospiro (A Sigh) 5:50 My Favorite Liszt [Vol. 2] Indrek Laul
4 Suite Bergamasque, Clair de Lune 4:46 The #1 Piano Album (Disc 2) Jörg Demus
5 Maple Leaf Rag 3:20 Scott Joplin: Piano Rags Joshua Rifkin

7 Solace -- A Mexican Serenade 6:46 Scott Joplin: Piano Rags Joshua Rifkin
8 Solace (1909) 6:50 The Complete Piano Music of Scot… John Arpin
9 Solace (Piano Version) 3:37 The Sting: Original Motion Picture… Marvin Hamlisch / Scott Joplin
10 In A Mellow Tone 5:58 Exclusively For My Friends - Vol. 2 Oscar Peterson
11 In My Life [1965 Stereo Mix] 2:30 Rubber Soul [2009 Mono Remaster] The Beatles
12 Smoke Gets Into Your Eyes 4:41 What a Wonderful Trio! Tsuyoshi Yamamoto

I was able to find create your playlist except for the first three. In Tidal I could not find "Indrek Laul" Found some Indrek and some Laul but no combination. I dod try other versions of those tracks. I am listening now.

EDIT: Wow what a great MQA version of "Night and Day"
