Default Basis Ovation, Graham 1.5 TC, and Hana SL

It may be old enough to gamble in Vegas, but I am really enjoying my “new to me” Basis Ovation turntable and a brand new Hana SL cartridge mounted on a Graham 1.5-T/C tonearm. I know the original owner who took wonderful care of the table and arm. He made a significant upgrade and traded in the Basis and Graham. My dealer, Andrew at Esoteric Audio in Phoenix, Arizona, highly recommended this table as an affordable yet huge upgrade from my Music Hall 5.3, and he was very right. After letting me listen to it extensively in his store, he spent well over an hour setting it up in my system. Delightful, wonderful, realistic, and “you are there” come to mind when describing this combination. Once again, kudos to Andrew for his honesty, guidance, and meticulous set-up.

Great purchase.
You couldn't afford not to buy it!

congrats Mikey, the Ovation w/ the Graham is about as good as it gets, the old owner must have spent a bundle to 'improve' on it and perhaps his new 'table was a sideways move. This is my Ovation with a Rockport arm, it normally has a VdH Colibri hanging from it
