Cool. congrats! How do they sound right out of the box? I must ask you how the bass is, because those guys over at that Lansing Heritage website have pooh-poohed the K2s to death. Especially in the bass department.

I bet you do. I kind of wish I had waited and bought those instead of the S4700s. We'll see after I hear them.

I have the 4365. Bought them brand new 3 years ago. During the past I have tested several amps on them. Electrocompaniet AW 400 and Ec Nemo, McIntosh 601, Mc 275x2, Mc 452, Hegel H-30 x2 ( 11000w each).

The amps I have ended up with so far is the American brand ATI. Well balanced and great dynamics.

I still want to try out Mc 1.2 kw, and the dream is Mc 2kw. Time will tell.

JBL 4365 are not leaving the house. Just love the bass punch from the15" woofers and the great resolution from the 4" midrange drivers. One thing is for shure, 4365 love a lot of power. The play ok with Mc-275, but to get the well known jbl punch, big power amps is the key.

They sound awesome straight away. Don't listen to Lansing most people have never heard them let alone owned them.

They working remarkably with Class A valve gear and Incredible with McIntosh SS. I have heard them with the Mc302 and Mc452 and they seem to have amazing Synergy with them.

Cool! Sounds great! ATI are good amps. Not very good in the looks department, but performance counts more I'd say.

Yeah, I would try those out too, lol.

I bet they aren't. Yeah, I'm perplexed that such efficient speakers like a lot of power. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation.

Cool, I thought so. No, I'm not. Those guys mostly read graphs and go by that. And I agree, most of them haven't heard them or owned them.

Anyway, that's cool. I currently use a Bryston A/B amp. It's not bad, but there's better. It looks like I'm gonna upgrade to an Accuphase Class A amp!
