Gee, I was going to say that the difference between the C-42 and C-46 was 4, but I guess Dan's answer is covers a lot more ground. Time to climb back int the cave.

If my algebra memory serves me well?...... the difference isn't (4)...........
Since (C) is a constant variable. Therefore (C-42) - (C-46)=0 solution; (C+4)= 0. Unless somehow we are solving for (C)? :confused-11: Okay I'll crawl back into the geek pit!!

Hey...... What can I say!! I'm trying to correct that issue! Need to retire to a State with warm weather longer than 3.5 months out of a year.

I'm staying right here. I would much rather have it 10 than 85.

For me 62 is about perfect, no AC and no furnace.

That's what the tubes are for, warmth.

There's a C42 for $1200 on Audiogon. Seller won't ship due to the lack of box.

DJ.......That is a good price. Maybe contact McIntosh, purchase a box, and have it shipped to the guy to pack the C42 in for you. I believe the box will cost about $45.00. Cheap insurance.
