That's a picture of the SR-Z1 aka Hubbell, as best as I can figure, because there's yet to be any marketing pictures of the Copperconn that I'm aware of.
That is correct. I googled and found some actual pictures of the CopperCONN. They are clearly (with a magnifying glass though) labeled as such.

I just shelled out 300$US each so I hope I will get more audio benefits than just being subtles when compared to the SR-Z1. Some users speak highly of this outlet over whatsbest forum.

I think it depends on your system and power situation.

I think I remember a post from Caelin last year some time that Shunyata did extensive research/listening tests with respect to various metals and metal plating-types for outlets/receptacales, and rhodium did not fare well at all.

IIRC, this research led specifically to the development of the CopperCONN outlets, speaker cable terminations, and plug connectors.

Another mistake made by me. I have Rhodium everywhere!

Great, thanks! An audio nut's work is never done.

Did not know they were available yet...my coverage on forums these past months has been as possible with limited time and not comprehensive.

Did you receive it in any kind of retail packaging?

How did it differ visually from the SR-Z1?

No retail packaging. It was in a box drop-shipped with some cables from Shunyata (Covid restrictions meant I couldn’t pick it up at the dealer.)

Parabellum, I think one thing about that PJ application that did not materialize a benefit. It looks like the PJ powercable had brass connectors. If you use corresponding NCF power connectors, things might have picked up IMHO.

I've been using a Furutech FP-3TS862 cable with FI-50 for my Sim2 PJ and it has served me well during the 13 years it has been operational.
Lately I put in an SR Blue fuse and it was better than the regular Furutech fuse.

If I would do this today with a current PJ a Shunyata alpha V2 NR would probably be what I would use.

My idea for the projector was to have a Furutech loom starting with the NCF duplex and to add "The Odeon" power cable. This was recommended by Furutech when I contacted them. Unfortunately, my projector power socket is a PITA as it does not allow the big connectors found on most audio grade power cable. I finally purchased a Venom V14 and I am using it in conjunction with the Venom Defender with very good results. When I find some free time I will swap the Furutech NCF for the Shunyata SR-Z1. I will try the NCF for my audio system before I install the CopperCONN.

I see, well the smallest corresponding IEC NCF connector is the Furutech FI-C15 (R) NCF. It's a bit longer though, might not fit all applications but might be smaller than the larger NCF version FI 50's.

Cool, thanks for putting the NCF for comparison before the CopperCONN outlet. I'm trying to be patient and asking Shunyata politely every year about a Schuko mold CopperCONN outlet so that both the PD's and outlets can be used in the largest part of EU. It should make sense to do it IMHO since it did in the US.
