Wow, so things are happening! Great times. I’d love to hear more about the CJ5 preamp!

I got my new Universal this afternoon WOW ! it came with KT88s they bring my Klipsch K510 speakers to a whole next level in sound. That I thought could not be possible. I can not wait to get my Li Audio F15s back together (new bigger baffles). Dennis also gave me a Sylvania 6BX7GT driver tube to try, along with the 6SL7GT. He told me to ask Bearcity about the 6BX7GT driver tube.

You may want to check out the Preferred series 274B/5U4G
from the Tube Store. The 6BX7 is a fine tube and it won't break the bank.

I got a 5U4GB JJ Electronic I bought is this inferior to the tube you mentioned?
I am new to this, what would the different rectifier tube do to the sound? I was reading that the rectifier tube does not change the sound. Maybe bad article LOL

I'm not familiar with the JJ 5U4G. IMHO, rectifiers do change the sound as does any tube change. Just trust your ears. Since you are new to tubes, purchase them from a reputable dealer.

I own several versions of Dennis Had Inspire amps. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with using the GZ32 rectifier in these amps?

I have a JJ GZ34. Don't use it much, but it sounds the same in my amp as all of my other GZ34s. Have heard they have longevity issues.
