I just completed my long planned upgrade by adding a Bryston 10B-SUB active crossover network so that I could run stereo subs. I may add a third Fathom F113 to handle LFE in movies. I started a thread on the project (with pics!) here: http://www.audioaficionado.org/subwo...s-project.html

Once my Esoteric K-03 breaks in, I'll be installing it in my Burmester/Aida rig. I also have some custom GIK picture panels being made for same.

Norsost TYR2's and jumpers are stuck in FedEx hell and hope to receive them tomorrow if all goes well.
VAC Sig IIa comes Tue/Wed. Maybe add the EMM Labs TSDX transport for my DAC2X. Otherwise all is pretty good about now. TAD CR-1's and Dynaudio C1's sound awesome. Patience is paying off wonderfully.

I'm taking it quietly for a little while after adding a lot of new cables, tweaks & a new preamp this year. My next purchase will be a 2nd Jorma Prime xlr cable as a New Years present. Next year I plan to also upgrade my front end components!

For the two that are waiting for new VAC gear, I am interested in your thoughts when they get setup. I am currently running a CLA1 MKII that Kevin recently helped me retube with what they put in the new ones which made a nice improvement over the JJs and Sovteks I was using.

For the moment, I am content but in the near future I will probably downsize my house and gear. I have been thinking about low power tube amps with HE speakers. I recently listened to one of Steve Monte's Sound Quest 15wpc PP amps driving a pair of Omega Super 6s using an Aston Trew tube CDP and was pleasantly blown away for such a small setup.
I would like to play with a few lower end power cords tho.
