After spending close to $50 bucks on 2 tickets for the 3D version and 3D glasses, popcorn and a box of milkduds, I wished I waited until it was on cable.

LOL. Did they really use a USB port on an alien computer system? Any race capable of FTL travel would use HDMI, or telepathic implants.

I do wonder if the aliens still have to bring their audio equipment to their authorized dealer for updates.

I imagine advanced aliens capable of reaching us in such large spacecraft would have computers that use more complex calculations than simple binary arithmetic. A virus would have been impossible. Of course even if their technology hadn't developed beyond using just ones and zeros for calculations, we wouldn't have any language compatible with theirs to even write a program that would behave like a virus. OK, enough geeking out. Can't think too hard when watching a summer sci-fi movie.
