That's all just plain said...saw them and other industry brands up on Amazon as well recently. It's mostly Amazon marketplace sellers offering these brands' low-mid line stuff but I think it suxxx for these brands' dealer networks at the very least even though it is definitely a sign of the times....

I think it's so sad to see what they've been doing to the brand these past few years. I understand their take from a business perspective but the pride of ownership has taken a big hit and is not what it was a few years back...

Neither of the links in the two first posts show that SF is indeed available via Walmart.com. They may have been, but it could have been through an unscrupulous retailer who was a market seller on walmart.com just as many are at amazon. Once the manufacturer found out, they may have nixed it.

But I don't know that it is a flawed distribution strategy. If a sizable enough consumer demographic is willing to buy based on reviews and not dependent upon a showroom demo, any manufacturer puts themselves at a disadvantage by not allowing their product to be offered through virtual (website, not brick&mortar) sources.

Consumer buying processes are changing.
