SCAudiophile..I see you sold your Esoteric and went with the Legacy Powerbloc2. Wow thats a big difference the Esoteric is an incredible amp. How does the Powerbloc2 compare ?

The Powerbloc2 I have heard in multiple multi hour sessions in ATL (1) and at Legacy (3) surprised my greatly. It is a phenomenal amp, the price of 1800 USD is unbelievable. Dual-mono internal build and will suit what I need it for (tweeters are the only passive aspect of my current system so the A02 was truly overkill, it belongs driving a good set of speakers full range). The Powerbloc2 also matches the modules in the active sections of the rest of my speaker config exactly so it is the right choice for me..

SCAudiophile, How do you like the Wavelet? I have been considering one for the last year but system integration has held me back.

This is my 2nd system where I have owned Wavelet and highly recommend it; it is a phenomenal device and does all that it promises. With more info from you I can give more targeted feedback.

Awesome, I thought I was alone on this forum since this is not typical of music aficionados! LOL. Rest assured my speakers get punished playing this stuff, and they still don't want to break!
hey watch it, that's my future wife! Last edited by Oscar; 08-01-2019 at 12:13 PM. |

Hello- does anyone have experience with the Legacy Audio Studio HD monitors-mine have been made and are being shipped couldn't afford(at least according to my CFO) the Calibres but I am hoping they are close to being as "butt kickin'" as the Calibres.
would be interested as what speaker stands i should consider their height etc thanks bobbmd |
