Very cool Jeff. Looking forward to your review. This is a product that is a perfect fit for me. I am not a theater guy. But I am interested in a compact, good sounding one-piece-do-it-all system to mate with my flat panels.

The Panorama looks interesting. Digital Signal Processing, Class D amps, and nine speakers. Knowing the engineering expertise of B&W, this is likely to be a great product.

I like the design. It would work well in a bedroom system. Just connect a blu-ray player to it and it's done! (I don't think it can decode hi-def audio tracks though)

Yep, this baby is sweet! Really improves the sound in the situation you guys are talking about. It's a home run!

Just to bump this older thread, we recently got the Panorama 2 (now with HDMI connectivity and some speaker improvements) and it is awesome (as a way to avoid the whole multi-channel world). I don't really use it for true two channel stereo stuff but for game mode and video mode it is great for what it was designed to do.

The sound is awesome. I elected to go with the new Sonos Playbar however in the gym. I use Sonos a lot and in the gym it was a good fit. Nice thing about it is you can use the HD TV to do all the switching. Mids are problem but the Playbar is an option to consider. This review is coming from an avid B&W fan.

I havre a panorama series one for the bedroom and am wondering if the upgrade to a series two is worth it. The Hdmi connectivity is not an issue. Just a matter of speaker improvement being the question. The panorama makes a simple effective solution in a room where food but not great sound is adequate without the need to do hardware for a true 4.1 setup.
