Joey, congratulations as well

You have built a great primary system. I need to consider the move up to D3's as well.
Enjoy and let us know how things sound when they get here.

Edward

Atleast at the dealer. Proof will be in the pudding when I get it home.

Absolutely!

Joey, congrats.
It was a long journey.
Taking your time for this kind of decision pays off.
You'll enjoy them immensely.

Hey Ed!

We have the same dealer and salesguy... He told me about you and your 601s... Maybe when I'm all set up you listen to my rig and see if the d3 is for you. I've had a couple AA guys come by

Thanks everybody! It has certainly been a journey. I hope this closes that chapter.

I've certainly met several components which have ended the cycle for me and quenched my thirst for the next big component.

1. Boulder
2. Emm
3. AQ wel

Now... This. Let's hope this pans out.

If not, the dealer is nice enough to take it back minus delivery. I figured I couldn't lose

Thanks Douglas! Sometimes I wish I held on to my Strads to experience it with my current set up and wires and emm... I always wonder if I sold
It too quickly.

I would love to hear your great system when you have it all setup.
Our salesguy is great.

Congratulations! I've considered trading my 800 D2's in for D3's, but not yet. I'm certain you'll enjoy them!

What are you planning to drive them with? I have a spare pair of Electrocompaniet Nemos and an Audio Research Ref 5SE.
Was going to use my current units for it.

Emm Labs Dac2x/TSDx, Cary 05, Boulder 2060, AQ Wel 2/3 loom.

Then maybe in the future next year... it would be nice to get an AQ Niagara 7000 and a new rack.
