I recently had the furnace changed out mid last year and went with the Honeywell f100 4" media merv 13 installed upstream as well, so far so good as the Cedar and Oak pollen this year was just nuts. Prior to that it was the 3m 1500 series 1" filters.

Trane Clean Effects air cleaner/purifier. I don't see particles in LED light anymore. Very happy

Thanks for the replies everyone. Currently I’m stuck using a 20x20x1 inch filter. I’d been using various versions on the 3M Filtrete units. This time I’m trying the 1200 with charcoal, Amazon had pretty good deal on them and I had some points as well

I'm currently rocking a 1980s vintage system with a crappy blue filter because anything else slows the air flow down too much. But, the wife wants this system. She suffers from dust mite allergies. She keeps telling me I won't have to dust the speakers as much if I pry open the wallet and upgrade the system. LOL
