For your reference the MA7000's in Italy costs 10.600 Euro. The 032's price list is 13.000 Euro.

I wish you can listen the 032's and then judge with your ears.

Rocco...agreed That's what I was saying that the US manufacturers do the same thing when selling in Europe so when compared to local offerings, they are probably perceived as expensive

"Variety is the spice of life"

IMHO it is outstanding that brands like McIntosh and Burmester exist, each in their own way advancing the means to enjoy music.

Also it is a good thing that such a thing as "cost no object" exists, irrelevant of the fact that for one it will be about bragging rights and for another it will be about technology and performance pushed to its limit.

...but at the end of the day "it is all about the music"...and I dread the day I wouldn't be able to enjoy music, regardless of the price tag coming with the gear...h*ll I would probably start beating buckets

I'd like to think the entire forum agrees with you on that one!

I personally enjoy listening to my music on the way to work on my crappy toyota car speakers just as much as I do when I get home. It sounds different, but I get just as engaged and involved with the music.
