The car I like, but I prefer the look of a 'candy striper' be left to cute young girls in a hospital.

Stripes are optional but should be on it like the '67R.
4.0L, 500hp motor from the GT3RS, 6 speed not 7 speed and lighter than a GT3RS. Light flywheel optional. As pure as it gets with the modern 911. 991 units individually numbered.

Oh and brokers are already offering $250k over sticker.

I guess I am not as bothered by stripes tho the Martini one might not look out of place

But WOW. A return to form - the 911R and GT4.

Great to see the MT... Porsche says that of the cars that they sell that have the option of coming in a manual only 20% of their customers select this feature... Very sad indeed...

If dealers are asking $250K over sticker all I can say is isn't marketing great... That is just insane money for a 911... But if people are willing to pay it... Have at it...

By the way... It's missing the tail... Guess that is extra...

Was told that all 991 of them were sold out long ago. I'm hoping some GT3 owners will "trade up?" and I can score one of their cars to replace the GTS .

It won't be the dealers who will be asking over msrp but the 918 Spyder owners who get the first dibs on these cars through the creative Porsche VIP program and then flipping them.

Yep, I have heard all about the program. Considering the 918 is virtually double now with the average asking price of $1.5M, it was a wise financial decision for those that bought them. Opens up the first right of refusal for any limited edition model to come such as the 911GT3RS and now the 911R, both of which brought/will bring instant profit to those who could get their hands on them. A small number of loyal customers such as myself were able to get a GT3RS at sticker. I never owned a 918 Spyder.
