My system is quite modest compared to some of the jaw-dropping setups I love to see in this thread, but here it is in my new place. Not pictured are the white with blue drivers KEF LS50s, but this thread is all about the McIntoshes. I can honestly say I have never experienced pride of ownership such as this for a material good. Given my modest budget, it sounds amazing.
I'm going through a divorce, so this system has sort of been my therapy. I'll probably upgrade the power cable and the CD player interconnect, and then finally to a pair of floor standers (much research needs to be done on that, but I have time.) Once those three things are done, I can confidently say this system will give me decades of enjoyment without any real need to upgrade further (stereo is a slippery slope cost-wise as I'm sure you all know). Thanks to everyone who's provided advice on my journey. I am thrilled with this amplifier. IMG_2515 by Derek Peplau, on Flickr

Wow!! I am sure it sounds as amazing as it looks
I am considering adding some room treatments in my room and was wondering which color would be best and looking at the panels at the back of your room, in black on black, I think I will probably go with this option as it looks superb.

Sage advice, and very true. It's definitely helped me take a break from a lot of unpleasantness in my life at the moment.
