Default New McIntosh amp stands
McIntosh has introduced some amplifier stands, complete with illuminated logos...


AS125 Stand, designed for most McIntosh monoblocks, along with other Mc components:

Then there is the extra-deep AS901, for monsters such as the MC901:

They certainly look nice, have power control feature, and serial numbers!

But the pricing....gulp!

Looks like the AS125 is $3,000 each, while the AS901 is $3,500 each.

Interesting but neither is wide enough for my (on order) MC1502 which is 18.25" wide.

I'll be sticking with my Monolith.

For that much money; I’ll continue to use HRS M3X2 Isolation Platforms. They actually function extraordinarily well.

You've put your finger on the oddest thing about these $3,000 stands--McIntosh makes no claim of isolation or sonic improvement, As stated above, that's an expensive light

I ordered three of the AS125 stands today. They have the chamfered edge feet same as the 1.25KW's and precisely fit either the 3500MKII or the 1.25KW. They will set on my custom granite slabs. I think they are quite beautiful and from what I can antidotally tell, the chamfered feet of the 1.25KW provide excellent acoustic isolation.

I heard from my dealer today. The estimate is Feb 1 for the amps. The amp stands begin shipping this month so hopefully will arrive before the amps. I agree that they are pricey.
