wanted to get back to this. Pair of Sonus Faber isolation platforms were available for 500 bucks a pair...oh my

Unless the aesthetics are of primary importance, I’d head to a tile/stone supplier and try and find 2 square bases tha5 would look good under a pair of GP. No way I’d pay $500 for the “Sonus Faber” marble bases.

I made a set of 2 by 2 travertine special order from Loews.I bought 2 by 2 melanin from Home Depot to silicone the Travertine to.
I then bout 2" oak trim and stained in to match my speakers add a little liquid nails to hold it in place and Bam I have nice platforms.
