One thing that interests me is why they decided to go with the MDF sandwich over the acrylic sandwich plinth on the higher end models. At this price point...

I like Mark Levinson gear. They have had a unique place in the audio market from their conception, but I don't think I would be inclined to purchase a Mark Levinson turntable any quicker than I would purchase a VPI integrated amplifier. That's just me. .

It appears that the only thing on the table not "made" by VPI is the power controller

This is the TT that VPI hinted at on FB that I mentioned in the Avenger thread. I really like the looks of this one, though at $10k I won't be making a move from my classic 2. As mentioned in other threads, I'm happy to see new turntables being released.

At $10k I'd probably go ahead and do the VPI Avenger!
