You will not be disappointed by Siltech. Even their entry level Explorer series is very good.

If I was considering switching cables (I am not). I would probably go back to The Cable Company with their lending library. I could compare cables such as Siltech, JPS, Crystal and some MIT.

Hi All,

Just wanted to keep you guys updated on the Accuphase AC5 cart...while unimpressed initially, the cart has magically transformed to something else entirely.

It is awesome for vocals. I was never too happy with the Norah Jones LP till I played it with this cart. Previously used a Benz glider SM. The benz was good, but lacked the clarity and velvet texture that the accuphase provides.

Nordost and Focals are both faster, leaner, and brighter, probably not a great match unless you like those kind of sound.

I think SPM is neutral cables. Unlike more new models as Frey, Odin and so on. Cant say nothing about Valhalla
Yes, SPM is very fast. But I dont think its can be wrong for someone.

You must be listening to different Focals from what I have heard over the years. Never have I heard them lean or fast.

Yesterday I've connected pair of Nordost SPM to my Nova Utopia Be. The level of details in all frequency's is changed significantly. And sound not became bright.
