Default Vacation [emoji23]

Tried to convince the family for a "staycation" where we can all spend time with Dad in the listening room, and politely told "No #^*#%. Way" by both the wife and kids.

Now have to get a sitter for the family dog and daughters guinea pig, plus already missing my system and we are a week away from leaving - does anyone else ever hear these blues singing?

Generally I just wave to them all as they are leaving for vacation...

My favorite vacation is at home.

If we go away, after three or four days, I'm done. A long weekend is about all I can take.

I like to refer to the George Carlin routine where the mother has just sentenced her son to his room as a punishment. The boy is thinking, "hey that's where all my stuff is!"

Gary.......Same here. I traveled almost continuously for over 20 years with my company. Nothing better than being right here. Love my home and property.

I get far too much time with my system so I look forward to our annual trek to Europe or Asia plus our winter getaways.

I traveled 30-50% of the time before I retired, averaging 75-100k air miles. I loved staying home on vacation then, but now that I'm retired I enjoy the travel vacations with my wife.
