Default Bloodline --- Netflix

Hello. I did not see any thread posted in this forum on the Netflix original series, Bloodline? The reason I have posted this thread is that the final season (3rd) of 10 episodes will be released for streaming on May 26th. The series is a drama-thriller that is set in the Deep Southern seaside of Florida with a story that centers around one main family and their family secrets. The family portrayed is seemingly "functional" and well respected in the community. However the secrets that are gradually revealed show a dark and melancholic dysfunctional family. I highly recommend at least streaming the first season as it will slowly draw you into the fold so to speak. It is a little slow in the start, but the emphasis is on both storyline and character development. The cast is fantastic with a special kudos given to the actor Ben Mendelsohn. The themes and language is adult rated, so I would not recommend watching with children present. I am hoping that the 3rd season brings the story to a sound closure and does not leave the viewership grasping for answers.

BTW the theme opening song is quite enjoyable... youtube.com/watch?v=4GHtbDKPCe0

Regards

Thanks for heads up on season 3. I enjoyed season 1 and 2 very much. I was unaware it is the final season. Agree Ben is excellent as the black sheep brother. Sissy Spacek also tends to be great in many of her roles, this one included. My all time favorite is between Six Feet Under and Breaking Bad, but Bloodline was a pleasant surprise.
