Living in an apartment, your power quality is probably ‘challenging’. Do you have some sort of overall power conditioning in place?

I have two Furman units, the SPR-20i voltage regulator and the Elite 15-PFi (which I'd like to replace with an IT-REF-15i for visual consistency), which is chained to it. Voltage from the wall tends to fall between 123v–125v. The SPR, of course, keeps everything at 120v for the equipment. It also filters the incoming power, as does the Elite 15.

But that may not cover noise generated by an individual component's power supply, I suspect, based upon the improvement I heard when I put a Premium PC on my C2300. The 2300 seems the most critical component sound-wise, so it made sense to give it the better cord.

How long of a power cable do you need?
I can make a cable that has a pure copper shield and a fabric jacket over it
And it will have four 10ga pure copper wires
You can buy the ends and I can make the cable for you. It will be pretty large. Lol
And can handle 600volt and I have to see what the amps are. This is a military grade cable that was used for three phase motors up at Warren Robbins Air Force Base in Ga

Some how not sure that equates to a necessarily good design for making stereo gear sound better. May be capable of carrying lots of current at high voltage, but think there is more to it than that.

Well I know that when I make these cables. You can’t detect any emf or anything else from them.

How heavy are these cables anyway? Will they stay plugged into the wall socket without having to push your rack against the connector? Sorry, I am just kidding around. 🤣

Can anyone comment on just how flexible those Venom NR power cords are? As much as I like my Premiums, they are rather stiff and the short distances from components to power conditioners can create clutter due to the stiffer cables jutting out from the back of the system more; the Premium on my 2300 does that somewhat.

It all depends on the ends that are used
The cables I use can bend pretty easily. But they are somewhat large in OD size

As long as you're not going to commit the no-no of subjecting the power cord to 90-degree bends but instead stick to gentle curves in running the 1.75-meter cable, you'll probably find the Venom NR (and Delta NR, for that matter) flexible enough to work with. That's the case in my living-room system, where I have to contend with fairly tight spaces but find the Venom and Delta malleable enough to run without doing violence to their physical integrity.

YMMV, of course, depending on the physical clearances you deal with.

I'll take a photo and post it for you.
