Strange no phono...??? The stages on their integrated amp are actually pretty darn good. Shameful not including phono if true.

Yeah, back in July, we at the LVAC (Las Vegas Audio Club) hosted the US distributor of Luxman, Philip O' Hanlon of 'On a Higher Note'

The Las Vegas Audio Club: Our Twelfth Meeting

I was gunning for these 900 series pieces to be demoed, but they had already gone to the reviewer of that Soundstage article. So we had to make do with the top Class A integrated, which sounded great, but I still wonder what this new amp and preamp could do. I imagine I would be blown away. Hopefully Philip will have them on display at CES...

So close, yet so far away. But, c'est la vie, and I would imagine more sales were generated by that article than our little club meeting...

FYI - There was another thread about these new Luxman components and the associated review posted here. (Since it's in another forum and not under 'Japanese Exotica', I thought some interested parties may have missed it.) A link to comments on my experience with the C-900u preamp is in post #3 of that thread.

I have always been a fan of Luxman and Accuphase. When I decide to part with my beloved McIntosh gear, this will likely be the direction I will take.
