Nothing wrong with their looks IMO. I kind of like it. On the other hand, the Avalons you mention, are a design disaster to my eyes.

I have a soft spot for the Avalons having actually heard several of their models in treated rooms. I might add I have actually owned Marten Coltranes, so I know from whence I speak Avalon's top models have the best sound staging, imaging and overall coherence i've ever heard other than the awesome Infinity IRS-V's Their is a good reason for the shape of their speakers, so I am prepared to forgive the stealth fighter looks.

+1 on both counts... The Martens have a style and finish that strikes as understated and quite elegant.... The tesseracts more like a bad at the set of doctor who... Tho sure that both probably sound quite extraordinary and beauty is as always in the eye of the beholder.

A four towers speaker system is my dream..
Yes I like IRS V since I was young, now I see Genesis the closest in industrial design.
Gryphon Pendragon and this latest Marten catch my eyes too.

Hi Toga,

How can you still have dreams as owner of Magico Q7's, I am baffled, ;-)

As a statement, it's cool with four tower speaker. But extremely hard to integrate in the room. There is a reason why Supreme II is just two tower and sounds better then the former model. To integrate the bas tower and get the timing right is to hard. Music is about timing.

Oh I misunderstood.
From the brochure I thought Marten is four pieces design. So they just show the front and the back in one photo..
