Arc ref 75
I'm looking to upgrade my amp and looking at the Ref 75. My current speakers are the Klipsch Cornwall's but will upgrade those also in the future. Wanted to see how the REF 75 will pair with my present system. I'm also looking for the REF 5SE or REF 6 as a pre amp upgrade also in the future plans. The seller has the unit listed at 5400.00.

Ref 75
My advice is to look for a stock Ref 75SE and a Ref 6 I think that would be a great combo.
The 5SE is very very nice but 6 is much better. They both seem to come up for sale in spurts. I just sold my Ref 6 here a couple weeks ago I put myself on a audio diet to shed some gear but thats a piece I really miss. Hope this helps. AJ |

The 75SE is a major sonic upgrade from the 75 and not a major premium on the used market. You can purchase both the 5SE ($5-6K) and 75SE ($5-6K) for a little more than the Ref6 alone ($8-10K).
