I will have a look tonight at the number on the spare I have. Doubt you can get new ones, but refirbs are almost surely around. Keep in mind lousy contacts (plug and unplug your drive) can make you think the drive is shot when it ain't. Also try an overnight unplug and see if it boots in the am. See also the summary I did showing all the stuff that can happen to these based on our collective experience (See sticky at top of the Forum subject of Power Supply but lots of other topics dealt with.

Here is a 750. No reason to use a 300 actually. Seagate DB 35.3, Part number ST3750840ACE. There may be others that work but this one is one of them. Pull the ribbon cable off and reconnect. If that works, replace it.

If you create a file on your computer you can transfer the music to any Msxxx or Escient Machine to the new hard drive after you install it

A point of reference. With everybody having trouble with the MSxxx power supplies. I have rebuilt at least 20 Escient machines which I have given as gifts to family and good friends. Some of these machines have a older and different power supply. These seem to be void of leaky caps and work great with all MC and Escient Machines. :yes
