Wouldn't a PMC sub seem like a logical place to start?

The dealer I bought my PMC's from, actually suggested to go with the Velodyne DD-15. He is not a dealer for JL.

I only have one local JL audio dealer in my city(I am in Canada).

I got a quote today of about 3280 U.S. Can i say the price?
He was claiming the warranty in Canada was 5 years.

I see they are much cheaper on Audiogon. But no warranty. Also no warranty if I purchase from a U.S. dealer.

I'm an avid fan of JL F113, excellent, excellent sub. Not a bad word to say about it, but I'm an ex-owner.

The Paradigm Sub 1 is something you should seriously consider, in my humble opinion even better. Have a listen.

If you are really tempted by Velodyne, this is a better option than the DD-15.

I decided to call the Canadian distributor.

I talked to their Sales person and mentioned that I was looking for another dealer in Canada, as there
was only 1 dealer in my city, and i thought the price was too high for a F113.

He was concerned, and asked what I thought a fair price would be. He said he would call
the dealer in my city and see if he could work something out with them. He said due to
month end quota's he could probably give me a good price.

The dealer in my city called me back and said they could go $2825 U.S. today only.

Well I couldn't resist and ordered a pair.


Can anyone suggest a good balanced cable for these subs. I need a 20' pair.
