Jeff at AV Solutions here probably would have saved you money and been a direct, easy to work with human contact.

I received the the Concept yesterday. I looks smaller than the pictures more like a Rega P3, but with a thicker platter. Or maybe I am just use to seeing my VPI HW-19 mk2. I really like the arm with no bearings, just magnets. It is more stable than the unipivot arm that was on my VPI Scout. The mini spiked feet are set to far back and make adjusting them a pain. I installed my Denon DL-301mk2 on it and it sounds great. I dont know what the effective mass of the arm is but seems compatible with the Denon. I have gone through several albums now and I am impressed. I think this TT is worth the $ 1,400.00 I payed for it, but no more. I am not putting it down it just is not as good as more expensive TT. Which is to be expected....

Thats great! Please share your impressions of the Concept. I would be curious if they are the same as mine. Thanks, David......

It's coming in next week and will be home for a listen the first weekend in March...can't wait!

I had a choice between the Dynavector 10x5 and a Clearaudio Classic II and I took the latter. I love the 10x5 but have owned one a couple of times now and wanted to try something different.

The Concept is breaking in nicely along with the cartridge and Nano phono preamp. The sound is better than I expected and I must admit I had pretty high expectations. We will be comparing this table with the Rega P5 side by side both with Dyn 10x5 cartridges and the outcome should be interesting. I've owned the P5/10x5 combo and it never performed as well as what I'm hearing now. There are some other changes in the system so I have to eliminate them as the reason for the improvement. Best way to do that is side by side in a shoot out.
