I ran two SVS subs off my MA8000 back when I was using a pair of Maggies. You can run them off output 2 or use speaker wire off the 4 ohm tap. The blending in that setup was completely seamless and transparent.
I agree with Ivan's comment relative to the jumpers. If your running the amp as an integrated leave them alone. And BTW, congratulations on the purchase. The MA8000 was a game changer when introduced. It's performance is superb.

I see no harm using 2M to 1F y-cords. Electrons do travel rather quickly... even those of the audiophile variety.
Or you could use XLR to RCA cables from the 2nd output ... |

Love the sound. Ordered 2 balanced to RCA cables for the subs. And a pair of short interconnects for the jumpers. cardas wiring. This really elevates my sonus faber Chameleon Ts
