My conclusion for this upgrades will be 4 Clarity Cap MR .22uF. 630VDC, love to do V-Cap
CuTF but too expensive for me. Clarity MR will only cost me $128 but CuTF will be over $500 for all 4 caps. And will also do Solen PB series 10 uF 400VDC caps.

Tony, since this upgrade was done at the Cary factory I cannot tell you what type of glue they used.

The upgrades you are considering should sound great!

Loved my Clarity caps, so can't see you going wrong with them.

I use the nylon wire-ties rather than glue. Not sure what Cary uses, but you could ask DigiKey or Mouser what they offer for same. Am sure they have something as good.

Just got my second SLI-80 F1 Sig back from a recap. After 100+ hours the new Clarity caps have really opened up and it is singing sweetly. When I do a recap I do all of them (even the small ones out of the signal path), including jumping the power supply filter caps by 50% in capacitance and add 10uf by-pass on same. Plus, I like the British Racing Green with gold lettering.

Here are the 'before & after' pic's of the 'working area'. Went from the Cardas .22uf x 600vdc to the .47uf Clarity coupling caps, which are considerably larger, physically as well as value. Also went up by 50% in the size of the filter caps and added 10uf by-pass caps. Will get a top view shortly.
