lol...

I've never heard of one...only digital product he offers at the moment is the Arome matching transformer...can you imagine a Shindo DAC? The thought just boggles the mind...it would be a chipless DAC i imagine if he were to stay within his design principles.

Heh. Never happen.

I'd rather have a car Shindo amplifier first, for those long road trips.

F2a tubes in the dash. Cool.

Now, THAT I would buy. I picked my car color right ... just in case - it would look great!

Hmmm, a chipless DAC, intriguing but it would need a few thousand tubes to make up for those chips.

Seriously, I use an MDA1000 as my DAC and I can listen to digital (including streaming digital (Rhapsody or Pandora) from my Sonos) all day long. The MDA1000 is super smooth and analog sounding to start with, but when you take its signal an massage it through the preamp tubes and the SET power tubes of the Cortese, the result is 100% delicious.

I picked up a EAR/Yoshino tubed CDP and already have Ayon CD2s tubed CDP because I can't listen to digital any other way and Shindo doesn't make a CDP.

From the review " it's the best and most musical player I've heard at any price. The Acute III is the pot of musical gold at the end of the digital rainbow!"

EAR/Acute III ear acute

Hmm, EAR distributor just happens to be in my backyard (Long Beach, CA). Maybe a visit is in order!
