Default C220 to C2500

My current setup is a C220 driving a MC275 v6. Sources are Linn Mjik DSM player and Linn Majik turntable.

Locally there is a used C2500 being offered for sale. I bought my C220 new and I'm planning on replacing it with the used C2500. I'll lose around $1,600 on the flip. I don't need the 2500's DAC as my Majik DS has a good player DAC inside. I also don't plan to upgrade to a MC cart in the near or mid-future.

Is it worth selling my C220 and getting the C2500?

Depending on budget, have you considered a used C1100? Since you don’t need the dac and have a turntable.

I went from a C220 to a C2300 and it was quantum leap in improvement in every way. I was shocked because I thought the C220 was excellent. But the C2300 is in another league. Also the fantastic phono stage in the C2300 allowed me to ditch my otherwise great stand alone phono stage.

2300 ! I have had 220, 2300 and 2500, i sold 2500 and return to 2300.
More analog and better constructed.

( Use 220 with gold lion 12ax7 and above metal cones )
