You are not alone Marc, I read somewhere that when they were casting the first Bond film Ian Fleming envisioned and wanted Roger Moore in the role. Due to his contractual situation they couldn't get him and the rest is history.

Best 007 ever. No one had, or has had his charisma.

Because he came after Sean Connery as 007, I always assumed Roger Moore was younger than Sean Connery. I would have guessed that he was about 82. RIP Roger, you were a terrific James Bond.

When I see or hear the words James Bond I immediately think of Roger Moore. As I was growing up his movies were among the first James Bond films I watched. Of course I've seen them all over the years and appreciate what each individual brought to the role, but Roger Moore will forever be James Bond to me.

Cool, guess i'm not alone! I thought for sure most people would think Sean Connery is the only real Bond. RM was definitely a more campy version of Bond, but very enjoyable.
