Default Ray Lamontagne album suggestions

Hi Folks. I saw Ray Lamontagne on Spectacle, a show hosted by Elvis Costello on the Sundance Channel (here's a link for those interested: Spectacle: Elvis Costello with... | Home | Sundance Channel), and thought he was very good. Not familiar with him at all. Anybody know his music and any album suggestions to try out? Here are his albums from Amazon:

1. Trouble
2. Gossip in the Grain
3. Till the Sun Turns Black
4. Three More Days
5. Jolene
6. How Come
7, Live from Bonnaroo 2005

Thanks in advance.

The top three are the ones to check out first (don't own #3 -- but I've read Til the Sun Turns Black is very good and thus why I mentioned it with the other two). May have to search around for a snipit of listening tracks now that you brought RL up.

I have two of his albums:
Gossip In The Grain
'Till The Sun Turns Black

I enjoy both of them.

i have all of them except #5. all excellent to me, my wife turned me on to him! Trouble was his first album and I love it as much as the other two as Jim mentioned. the Jolene single has a cover of the Gnarls Barkley song "Crazy" so if you liked the original (i did) the cover turns it into a different song totally which is great. Three more days also is a single...

Cyril...all of Ray's lp's/cd's are worth getting. Saw him live and worth checking out. Great singer songwriter and his band is top notch!
