I don't think that Bryston is involved in that arrangement. The JBL looks a lot like the Trinnov Altitude. So it is more likely that Trinnov is the OEM and is making the unit for JBL branding.

Any ideas on what the cost of the SP4 will be?

I read somewhere that it is $14k, but not sure if that is confirmed.

Bryston SP-4 Processor
So... the SP4 will have a cheaper MSRP price than the unit it is based on (the AudioStorm unit).

Hi Folks,
It has come up that some feel I am going against my own feelings about the problems with fullrange frequency room EQ so why offer it on the SP-4? Well I have also been accused of being too myopic in my approach to this and that most people see value in EQ - so I capitulated to the pressure and the SP-4 will offer EQ (not that I personally will use it) james |

It still looks like a winner, James.
Plus, all calibration software is basically a full range room EQ (Dirac)... right?
