Feels like SF is moving away from wooden construction. The wood looks like a decoration (I'm sure it's not) that wraps around the metal body. The new line of SF looks colder and less organic than the previous Homage line. It's still one of the best looking new speakers in the world, just not as good as their previous ones. Having said that, I haven't seen one in person

In the past, Sonus Faber moved me on these two models:

1. Amati Stradivari
2. Amati Anniversario

Today, sadly only the Anniversario replacement, the FUTURA, is a real beauty. The AIDA (if I can afford), I'll skip. $120k is a lot of money and SF should do better than that!

Now, I have not the chance to audition its sound and performance, so maybe, there's something there thats worth the buck? I'll find out when local dealer gets in a pair to demo!

Sorry guys, for now, thats my honest opinion!

Do you know where one can get information about the crossover frequencies and slopes of the Aida? Since it as three-wired speaker it can be of great interest.

Hmm, the wood over wood wrapped by leather looks colder?

What you think is metal is not.

You guys should see the video of how she is made. Then you should see her in person.

If you haven't seen her in person, you have no idea. I said it before the release and I say it again. Just the way it is.
